I always say that there are two kinds of people – the ones that love grilled cheese sandwiches and the ones that don’t. Now, we are going to talk about the first type, because we all know that those who don‘t love grilled cheese have their own reasons, which we don‘t care about. At least not at this very moment.

You see, most of the grilled cheese lovers are dedicated of making the sandwich better and tastier with every try. They are on a hunt for the best result every time they make one and they work on perfecting every step of the process – from the preparation of the ingredients to the oven cleaning. Because, obviously, clean kitchen range and appliances bring the best and healthiest result. The reason behind this type of perfectionism is that the grilled cheese sandwich is a treat and a calorie bomb, not an everyday snack. Otherwise, we wouldn’t appreciate it so much.

And no, it’s not enough to simply grill two slices of bread with cheese in between. The making of a good grilled cheese sandwich is a science. And the good thing about that science is that there isn’t a result that’s absolute. You can always make it better and there is room for experimenting.
